If I am accepted at Early, then my troubles are over
Now I'm wishing for luck, picking four-leaf clovers
If I am rejected at Early, then still not to worry
There's still Regulars, take it easy, no hurry
But as my essays still fail and my common app sucks
I vision myself making a living through trucks
College, it seems, is not merely a choice
If I am accepted, I shall surely rejoice
But chances are slim and the future is grim
I'm on the brink I'm about to sink
And I have to admit I'm unprepared to submit.
